KIT for  Ballet Slippers

The painted slippers are an example of what the kit will look like when painted.

There are 3 designs. One already has the ribbons so that you can hang the shoes on a little hook. The other two designs are meant to be layed flat with a choice of a pair with both shoes the right way up and another pair where one shoe is face down and the other face up. On these two options you could add your own silk ribbons to the to make them look very authentic.

How to paint

Remove any casting Sprues. I recommend priming the item before painting it.  This ensures your paint finish will be less likely to scratch off the metal pewter.

There are endless ways to paint the scales and ours in the kitchen areas of drak blue which over the years has worn away.

TOP TIP - make the inside of the shoe a different colour to the outside and paint the sole a slightly lighter or darker colour than the actual shoe.
