A very delicate and pretty small French 18th Century  table Metal DIY kit.

6.8cm high x 6.8cm wide x 3.9cm deep

It is an exact replica of one that I photographed in a French Antique Shop in Paris. Apart from the colour the details are as close to the original as possible and the size is reduced to 12th scale.

Every detail has been copied and the kit allows you plenty of scope to reproduce to the original which was wood and gilt or be more adventurous and paint it in colours of your choice such as gilt and black or cream and black.

This is fiddly to assemble. There might be a small amount of drilling required if the connection holes are plugged.

I use cyno glue (superglue - Haffix) and a spray accelerator  by Expo. When the item is stuck together the glue will require about 24 hours to truly cure. However it can be painted with primer etc before or after gluing.

TIP - if you paint the item before gluing together you may find that the layer of paint under the glue comes away from the metal.
